I’ve actually just started to use Mozilla Weave which allows you to maintain all sorts of data across multiple Firefox installations, even including open tabs between work and home computers! So far it’s been excellent, but if you’re going to use the full functionality make sure you’re careful otherwise you could get in trouble with your IT department if FF automatically opens anything NSFW (not safe for work).
