Speed up your Firefox 3 Browser

i want to get that cool theme that is similar to that one posted on their "Tips and Tricks" section or visit this site: http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/tips/ here you can see what i'm talking about...pls help

Have you noticed an increase in the number of comments since installed KeywordLuv? I've been considering using it on a blog I own and need some honest feedback.

My problem with Firefox is not really the speed (I know it's slow). I have almost decided to switch to Chrome (if you notice, I am also using Chrome to make this comment). Firefox has become the new IE and crashes everyday for me. I thought it's the plug-ins and got rid of them, but that hasn't really helped.

What does emptying or vaccuming the database actually does here? Any reason why you think this will help make FF faster? Is it basically a cure for firefox ageing?

Not just Comments but also a great increase in Spam too. So be careful. BTW, this is a wrong place for this comment.

The emptying of database is like making it less loaded. It is the same like when you have lot of things in your harddisk, the hard disk takes time to be read, but when you have lot of your harddisk empty, then it will be faster.

Great tip, I'll give it a go but I've got to agree with Georgiy in that Firefox does seem to crash much more often in the latest versions. I switched to it because of IE issues but it seem to be going the same way. Maybe time to give Chrome a go?

speed up firefox id love to just be able to use it i get so many error when i try and use fire fox so i just stick with the internet explorer plain and simple

Great stuff. One thing I noticed about FF is that it really slows down after a while becuz of all the plugins/addons etc. Chrome is lightning fast compared to FF but I hope these tips will work!

I'm a bit nervous about trying this as I'm not sure what it's removing?

What it basically does is empty your dbconnections. Its not a harmful activity and shows good results on older Firefox installations
