Google delays payments to Adsense Publishers

Since the start of January, there have been lot of Adsense publishers complaining of the non-receipt of their payments over at the Adsense help group. In fact, there were replies from the Adsense employees confirming the delay in the payment and have attributed the problem to a bug in their system. In exact words of Jennifer as quoted in this thread

We've been monitoring this thread and I can confirm that we have an issue on our back end that is preventing some publishers from seeing payment holds on their accounts. We are working with the YouTube team to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we have been working to contact affected publishers individually. Thank you all for posting in the forum. The faster we can aggregate data on a possible bug, the faster we can fix it, and forum threads like this are hugely helpful in surfacing these issues.

We appreciate your patience, and I assure you that we hear you and are taking this issue seriously.

According to Jennifer, only YouTube publishers are experiencing this.The bug has affected many of the publishers and the sheer length of the thread supports the assumption. In the thread they have assured the resolving of bug and getting ther payments by the end of February.

Today Google's employee William has started a new thread saying that the bug has caused the hold on the affected Adsense accounts to be removed manually and hence the processing will be delayed one more month and the publishers can expect payments by the end of March. Hope Google resolves this problem atleast by the end of March.
