# is Computer Female or Male?

Reasons to believe computers are Female:
1. No one but the Creator understands their internal logic.
2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else.
3. The message "Bad command or file name" is about as informative as, "If you don't know why I'm mad at you, then I'm certainly not going to tell you".
4. Even your smallest mistakes are stored in long-term memory for later retrieval.
5. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.
Reasons to believe computers are Male:
1. They have a lot of data, but are still clueless.
2. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they are the problem
3. As soon as you commit to one you realize that, if you had waited a little longer, you could have obtained a better model.
4. In order to get their attention, you have to turn them on.
5. Big power surges knock them out for the rest of the night.

Tips To Combat Rising Costs

One shouldn’t have to take out loans just to pay for food or gas. However, the economy has everyone stretched right now and people have become more creative to reduce expenses. Other than taking out a cash advance, here are some other ways to keep going until the economy rights itself:

Gas – Dump your SUV, if you have one. Move closer to work. Keep your car maintained to reduce gas usage. Things like a clogged air filter or poor tire pressure can add to your gas costs. Make single, instead of multiple, trips by combining errands.

Foods – Change your diet. Some foods have become notoriously more expensive: milk and grains, for instance. Shop at local farmer’s market where the price may be fairer. Shop sales and use discount coupons.

Mortgages – Refinance any adjustable rate loans. Call your lender and negotiate terms that make it easier to pay: longer loan terms, or lower interest rate.

Establish Perfect Credit – When cash gets short, credit is your only option. Pay your bills on time by keeping a household budget. This will help improve your credit lending score and open lines of credit for you. Get a free credit report and then add your FICO information for a small fee (About $5). Knowing your FICO gives you negotiating power for loans. Dispute bad entries to raise the score.
